ProviDANCE 5th Annual

sWINg in the cITy

Compete for your club and earn points toward the
“ProviDANCE sWINg in the cITy TRAVELING TROPHY!”
Come show your dance spirit and represent your club
for fun and laughs in a Jack and Jill contest of your level! It's a BLAST!

Q: How do I register?
A: Register online by filling out our registration form and completing your payment online with credit card or check or money order in the mail.
Q: Do I need an all weekend pass to compete in the Jack and Jill?
A: Yes as that is only what we are offering at this time.  We are planning on selling out.
Q: What time do I need on Saturday do I need to register by?
A: Registration closes at 5pm on Saturday evening. Jack and Jill's begin at 6pm.  When you register for the event, the options will pop up for you online to register for the J & J then.  We would appreciate if you would do this ahead of time.
Q: How many levels of competitions will be offered?
A: 4 levels. Newcomer, Novice, Intermediate, & Advanced
Q: Should I compete if I just started learning West Coast Swing and only know how to lead or follow some basic pattern?
A: YES! We have a division designed just for you! It's called NEWCOMER for the newbie dancers!
Q: If I make finals and place top 5, will I receive an award?
A: YES! All top 5 winners (top 3 in Advanced) will receive a BEAUTIFUL medal with the ProviDANCE logo, date, level entered, and placement! Each year the winners are very impressed with their special medals!
Q: Why should I compete?
A: It’s great fun and practice for you and helps create a healthy ground for communities to rival.  Get ready, get set, GO!
Q: What do I wear?
A: Well, whatever blows your hair back as well as a splash of color to represent your level for extra points!

Q: What level do I enter?
A: You enter the level that respect the rules that go in line with WSDC.  Stay posted for them. If you have never competed and/or do no have any WSDC points, you are clearly Newcomer.  If you need help, Jennifer will guide you in placing yourself in the correct division.
