ABOUT BLAKE
Blake Hobby is a two time US Open Champion. She has been competing, teaching, and judgingon the National Swing Circuit for 15 years. Previous to entering the Swing world, Blake danced in ballet companies in Atlanta and Boston. She also holds a masters degree in teaching which is evident in her planning and implementation of dance instruction.
Her teaching style is clear, direct, easyand focuses on technique and execution.
Blake has recently moved from Connecticut and now resides in New York.

Great concepts for any dancer to know even if you are new to Swing! Learn foot positions, body alignment, balance, arm positions, and more to become the best dancer you can be!
4:45-5:45pm (1 hour)
WCS BASICS AND CONNECTION
Beginner and beyond
Learn the basics and enforce your fundamentals with connection! We will work on how it’s done and how it feels.
6-7pm (1 hour)
BLAKE'S FAVORITE EYE CATCHING MOVES
All levels
Learn what Blake does on the floor with such style and grace! Want to be like Blake? Now’s your chance to learn her tricks
7pm-8pm (1 hour)
DINNER BUFFET AND OPEN DANCING
Leo's Catering-Hot & Cold professional gourmet buffet

CONTROL, TIMING AND EXTENTIONS
Intermediate-Advanced
Extend your patterns, change up your timing and use your body for some controlled counter- balance moves! She will highlight moving slow to fast music! So cool and way too fun!
